Thanks to modern communications you can still do a viewing in the current climate. I can also provide rental projections if you’re considering purchasing the property for investment.

I’m currently registering buyers interest in properties in order that I can make viewing arrangements as soon as the travel ban is lifted. If a property you’ve seen needs work then spend time looking at likely refurbishment costs and speak to builders.

Perhaps you’re considering relocating, now’s a great opportunity to do as much online research as you can so you’re armed and ready to go once the lockdown is over. Review sold prices, research the local area, transport links, job opportunities, Ofsted reports etc. I would also recommend speaking to some local agents as inevitably they’ll have properties under the radar which could suit your requirements and they may even have details prepared that they can send.

The tide will turn and when that happens there will be a rush of interest so my advice is to get ahead of the game and have those useful conversations which will put you in the strongest possible buying position and set you aside from the competition.
