Occupying an elevated position between North and South Sands, Beechwood pushes the boundaries of design with a home which combines a variety of current building materials with the latest technology. Designed by local architects, van Ellen & Sheryn, this individual and stylish property nestles comfortably in its partly wooded setting whilst taking full advantage of the breathtaking views.
The impressive entrance on the first floor forms an axis off which the living space flows and the full height glazing at both ends creates an abundance of natural light and an immediate view of the sea. The main living accommodation is divided with Crittal screens and designed to seemlessly link the inside with the full width balcony which enjoys spectacular views across the gardens to the mouth of the estuary and beyond.
On the lower level are 5 double bedrooms, the principal bedroom and guest suite have sliding doors to the ground floor sun terrace and floodlit swimming pool.
Extensive outside entertaining areas are low maintenance and in addition to driveway parking for several cars there is a detached double garage. At the bottom of the garden is a gate which provides a useful short cut to South Sands where there two boutique hotels, a watersports centre with cafe and the South Sands Ferry provides easy access to Salcombe town centre.
Beechwood has been built to the highest specifications and would make a fantastic family or holiday home combining excellent living with an abundance of entertaining space both inside and out.
